Archaeology

June 28–July 30

Participate in a research project around the topic of Archaeology of the coastal zone, with excavations of graves and houses from Iron Age-Middle Ages. The project is led by Associate Professor Dan Carlsson who ahas extensive experience of archaeology on Gotland.

You can choose to participate 2, 3 or 5 weeks. The course is dedicated to beginners as well as more experienced diggers, from Sweden and elsewhere. Activities include fieldwork, lectures and an excursion to the Gotland Museum. Working languages are Swedish and English.
